Sacramento, CA — The Bal-Cal Pick-4 Challenge will return on Sunday, November 8, with a $25,000 guaranteed pool.

With the addition of Sunday racing at Cal-Expo, the popular Bal-Cal Pick Four Challenge will make its return and will continue to be offered to fans every Sunday through December 13.

“Having the Bal-Cal return for our fans as well as the fans of Balmoral Park is a great way to generate additional interest for all parties,” stated Dave Elliott, Director of Racing for Cal-Expo. “It also offers the fans a higher pool to wager in, not to mention it continues to promote a successful partnership with Balmoral Park, a partnership that we have enjoyed now for several years. I’m very much looking forward to it and foresee the Bal-Cal continuing on in 2010.”

The Bal-Cal Pick Four Challenge is a $1 minimum wager offering a $25,000 guaranteed pool and consists of the last two races from Balmoral and two races from Cal-Expo.

Post time for the first leg of the Bal-Cal Challenge will be announced when available.

Live racing resumes at Cal-Expo on Thursday (October 29) and continues through Sunday (November 1). Post time on Thursday night is at 6:10 p.m. (PDT). Post time on Friday night is at 5:55 p.m. Post time on Saturday and Sunday night is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. On Thursday, a carryover of $4,703.09 will be added into the Pick-6 (races 4-9) pool.
