Boca Raton, FL — Kountry Lane Standardbreds purchased Baroness Hill 4,1:52.1-’24 for $326,000 Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 29) at onGait.com.
The $300,000 winning 5-year-old Kadabra mare is a half-sister to Spencer Hanover, a $450,000 yearling at Lexington last fall and is from a half-sister to Manchego 4,1:49 ($3,144,777). Tom Hill of England was the consignor.
Hill also sold Foxy Hill p,3,1:48.4-’24 on Wednesday. Dana Parham of Florida was the winning bidder at $120,000. A former $160,000 yearling purchase, she is from a two-time sub-1:50 producing half-sister to Stay Hungry p,3,1:47.3 ($1,303,709).
Currently in the onGait auction ring are Fasnacht Hanover p,3,1:50.2s-’24, racing in Ontario for the Marvin And Lynn Katz/Brad Grant partnership; PC Peterbilt 5,1:58.1s-’25, a winner of his last two starts at Mohawk; and Bear Necessities, a 4-year-old Archangel trotter racing at The Meadows.
