Vincennes, FR — Beads, who was sold to Norway last winter, is now trained by Jean Michel Bazire and will race for the first time in France Sunday afternoon (December) in the Prix du Bourbonnais – the second qualification race to the Prix d’Amerique.

So far Beads has been a disappointment for his Norwegian owners as he has only raced four times and has made breaks every time.

Alexandre Abrivard, the second most winning driver in France this year, will be in the bike behind Beads, while Jean Michel Bazire will drive Italian trotter, Zarenne Fas.

Last year the race was by Etonnant and Anthony Barrier, who will try to win again this yard. Etonnant has not raced since The International Trot at Yonkers in October.

After Gu d’Heripre has been scratched sick the field is at 15 trotters, who will race over 1-3/4 miles – the total purse is 120,000 Euro.
