Harrington, DE – P T Stable’s Beat Cop ($2.20, Tim Tetrick) was the fastest of three Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) winners Monday (June 17) at Harrington Raceway with a 1:54.3 triumph.

The Dragon King gelding achieved his 13th career win over Shocking Truth and Papas Son. Beat Cop received a first-over trip that saw him clear the pacesetter, Papas Son, near three-quarters and edge away from the competition. Trained by Crissy Crissman-Bier, he won his 2nd straight start in DSBF elimination action. Crissman-Bier had a training triple.
Mulligan Stable, Calcutta Stable and Denise Davis’ Captain Pete ($2.10, Allan Davis) won the first division in 1:55.2. The Roddy’s Bags Again gelding was an easy winner over Matts Artist and Rowdy Dragon. I’m Still Here finished second but was disqualified for a pylon violation. Trained by Jason Johnson, it was the seventh win in 10 career starts for Captain Pete and one of 3 wins on the card for Johnson.
The favorite held serve again in the second split as Ross Wolfenden’s Cavalli Island ($2.40, Wolfenden) was an easy winner and completed a sweep of his eliminations with an open length score in 1:55.2 over There Goes Bubba and Tug River Patrick. The Badlands Hanover gelding notched his 5th career win for trainer Bob Glassmeyer.
Glassmeyer then won the $22,500 Free-For-All Pace with Sweet Angel Boy ($16, Tony Morgan) in 1:51.1. The 6-year-old Sweet Lou gelding recorded his sixth win of the year, all at Harrington, in front end fashion over Mack and I Did It My Way.
P T Stable’s Bettorbyseaside ($3.40, Art Stafford Jr.) won his 3rd straight race in 1:52.4 in a $45,000 claiming event for Crissman-Bier.
Drivers Tony Morgan, Art Stafford Jr. and Allan Davis each had 3 wins on the card.
