Millstone Township, NJ — The long time racing couple Tina and George Dennis of Delaware generously give their time every year to host a golf outing to benefit the Standardbred Retirement Foundation. It is more than fitting to honor the late Ben Stafford Jr. by having the event bear his name, in his memory, to benefit the horses he loved.

The event is set for Friday (Aug. 12) at the beautiful private club Quail Hill, in Wyoming, Del. The day will start with registration and lunch from 12-1 p.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The event continues with cocktails and dinner, awards, prizes, a raffle, and auction. The cost is $125 per person, hole sponsorship is $100 and Price Honda is generously providing a hole in one prize.

SRF greatly appreciates the continued hard work and kindness of the Dennis family to help SRF. A total of 208 trotters and pacers are under SRF’s full care and expense, all in need of homes. SRF is honored to care for the horses Ben loved in his memory.
