Baltic, OH – Marvin Raber Farms is excited to announce the acquisition of Black Magic 4,1:52.1f ($539,639).
Known for his early speed, flawless gait and stunning good looks, we believe he will add a new dimension to Ohio trotting.
At 2 years old, Black Magic won multiple Ohio Sire Stakes. At 3, he won the $200,000 Earl Beal Jr. Consolation and went on to win additional stakes events, and took his mark of 1:52.1f at four.
Black Magic, a son of successful Ohio sire Full Count, will cross well with Muscle Hill, Chapter Seven and Cantab Hall line mares, which translates to the daughters of the recent Ohio sires like Long Tom, Volstead, Triumphant Caviar, Uncle Peter and What The Hill.
Richard Gutnick, the principle owner of Black Magic during his racing career, said this: “If he passes his heart to his offspring he will be an excellent sire. I would not hesitate to breed to him.”
Black Magic will stand at Crystal Springs Stables for a fee of $3,000 and will be managed by Marvin Raber. For bookings and information, contact Marvin Raber 330-231-0179 or email mraber86@yahoo.com.
