Scarborough, ME — It was a finish like no other at Scarborough Downs on Sunday (April 29) as six trotting Standardbreds strode to the finish in nearly the same breath. After the judges requested a photo finish print, it was deemed that (4) Moran Moran (Dan Deslandes) and (5) You Go Girl (Drew Campbell) secured the win in a dead heat.

It was a photo finish at Scarborough on Sunday, with (4) Moran Moran and (5) You Go Girl in a dead heat.

Members of the Stephen Vafiades Stables lit up the Scarborough Downs Facebook page after the photo finish was posted.

“It was an exciting race and a real nice finish. We’re so proud of you, You Go Girl.”

Similar sentiments came from fans of trainer Todd Dubois and Moran Moran.

“You don’t often see that many horses in a single photo,” said Jeff Deslandes, father of driver Dan Deslandes. “That’s exciting. That’s what racing is all about.”
