Lucan, ON – Seelster Farms and the Bulldog Hanover partners are pleased to announce that the 2026 stallion book is now closed for the world’s fastest Standardbred, Bulldog Hanover.
One of the most talented and celebrated horses in recent memory, Bulldog’s accolades include induction into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, Horse of the Year on both sides of the border, Cam Fella Award winner and World Champion with C$2.7 million in earnings.
Not only did he become the world’s fastest Standardbred ever in July 2022, that same year he also sired 54 foals and that limited first crop were outstanding this past racing season. Despite many sires easily having more than twice the number of foals, Bulldog’s talented offspring catapulted him to second in the leading sires by average earnings (Canadian) for rookie pacers in 2025.
Bulldog’s first crop superstars included Three Diamonds winner She’s A Bulldog p, 2, 1:51.1 (C$527,913); Battle of the Belles victress Daya p, 2, 1:50.4f (C$485,914); Champlain champ Windor p, 2, 1:51.2s (C$222,232); OSS victor Redland Rocket Man p, 2, 1:52s (C$178,287); etc.
Bulldog Hanover’s incredible success on the racetrack has seemingly followed him into his second career as a stallion. We thank all those who booked their mares early – it certainly is an impressive group.
