Yonkers, NY — George Brennan broke open the holiday six-pack, winning a half-dozen races during Yonkers Raceway’s Monday Veteran’s Night card.

Brennan began the evening prevailing with the people’s preference Trip Hanover ($3) in the $12,000 pacing opener (1:54.4).

Glass Prince was one of six winners on the Monday program at Yonkers for driver George Brennan.

After finishing a non-threatening third in the second race and taking the third race off, Brennan tired on the lead with the 1-2 choice B B Happy in the fourth race.

He then spun a consecutive three-bagger in races five through seven, with Fitness Craze ($17.60) in the $12,000 fifth race trot (1:58.3), odds-on Shake It Up High ($2.80) in the $15,000 sixth race pace (1:55.4) and short-priced Macjestic Toddy N ($3.80) in the $15,000 seventh race pace (1:55.2).

Brennan cut the mile but settled for second in the eighth race, before airing with the veteran Report For Duty N ($5) in the $16,000 ninth race pace (1:53.1). He was AWOL in the 10th race before completing his double hat trick with Glass Prince in the $18,000 11th race pace. A ground-saving drive down the backside resulted in an un-Brennan-like $55.50 win mutuel after a mile in 1:53.1.

His night ended when he was snapped on the money in the 12th race pacing finale.
