Dayton, OH – Driver Brett Miller has been one of the top reinsmen in the state of Ohio for over 25 years and he reminded the other drivers that he is still a force to be reckoned with when he made six trips to the Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway winner’s circle on Saturday (Oct. 18).

In the $28,000 Open Pace, Miller and Surreal Ideal were assigned the outside post #8 and made a three-wide move at the three-quarters to record a half length score in 1:49.4.
The Bord Dance N (Jeremy Smith) received the first call and passed the opening quarter in :25.4.
He’zzz A Wise Guy (Sam Widger) cleared to the top at the half in :54.2.
Surreal Ideal picked up the cover of Humble A (Tyler Smith) and Rick Wink (Chris Page) and was fourth at the three-quarters in 1:21.3.
The 7-year-old gelded son of So Surreal passed the remaining competitors and crossed the line a half-length ahead of the dead-heat of Rick Wink and a closing Crunch Time A (Trevor Smith).
The judges later determined that Crunch Time A interfered with Later Dudes (Luke Hanners) around the final turn and was thus disqualified to sixth.
Downbytheocean (Josh Sutton) was elevated into the top three.
Surreal Ideal is owned by the partnership of 518 Group and Gitup Racing. Vernon Beachy is the winning trainer.
Miller would pick up his other victories with Tellitlikeiseeit ($4.60), Fox Valley Monaco ($15.80), The Devils Own N ($6.40), Pullingthestrings ($6.20) and Midnight Rocker ($11.20).
In the $24,000 Open II Pace, Alta Revelry N (Jeremy Smith) went from worst-to-first in the final quarter mile to record a 1-3/4 length victory.
The lead was exchanged a couple of times in the opening half – Twin B Seamonster (Chris Page) at the quarter in :26.4 and PJ Lou (Brett Miller) at the half in :55.1.
PJ Lou kept the lead at the three-quarters in 1:22, where Alta Revelry N started his chase in ninth.
Using a :26.4 final quarter, Alta Revelry N made up more than 11 lengths to defeat the tiring PJ Lou and Rockabilly Rebel N (Luke Hanners) in 1:50.3.
Antonia Storer trains the New Zealand bred son of Sunshine Beach for J M F Racing.
