Lebanon, OH — Bridgeoverbroadway and Pants On Fire lit up the timers and torched the competition on Tuesday (March 10) at Miami Valley Raceway, each taking a featured event.
In the co-featured $21,000 trot for non-winners of six pari-mutuel races, Bridgeoverbroadway fired out from the rail and briefly tucked in third while Spend The Prize and Mega Money battled for the early lead to the quarter in :27. Before the dust could settle on that confrontation, Anthony MacDonald had Bridgeoverbroadway out three-wide to move up and aggressively take the lead. As the field, now strung out and single file, headed to the half, Bridgeoverbroadway commanded with Mega Money in second and Spend The Prize sitting third. As they neared the half, 2-1 choice Amazing Catch moved first over from fourth as they passed the half in :56. With heads pointed toward three-quarters, Bridgeoverbroadway unleashed a :27.4 third quarter to thwart any advancement from Amazing Catch and opened up by two lengths. Around the final turn and into the stretch, Bridgeoverbroadway lengthened that lead and cruised home to stop the timer in a lifetime best 1:52.4. Mega Money held for second while In The End rallied for third.

For Bridgeoverbroadway, the win was her sixth of the year, putting her into a tie with Water Torpedo for the most wins by a trotter in North America in 2026.
In the co-featured $18,000 pace for non-winners of four pari-mutuel races, 2-5 favorite Pants On Fire left alertly from the middle of the pack, eventually working to the lead around the first turn and past the quarter in :27.4. From there, David Miller tapped the brakes to the tune of a :30.2 second quarter. As they neared the half, Quantum was out and moving from fifth for a lonely first-over trip. After navigating a rough turn, Quantum straightened out down the backside and began a quick charge to draw even with Pants On Fire. As soon as Quantum drew even, Pants On Fire swelled up and began to slowly pull away past three-quarters in 1:26. As they turned for home, just a couple of taps was all Pants On Fire needed as he was comfortably hand driven the rest of the way to win by a comfortable length in 1:53.4. Southern Rockfest used a pocket trip to finish second while Cruising Zone finished third.
For the lightly raced Pants On Fire, it was his first win in his first outing of the year. The 4-year-old was making just his eighth lifetime start, four of them victorious, with his last effort a fourth-place finish in the North America Cup last June.
Trainer Anette Lorentzon had three winners on the card while Brian Brown had a double. Chris Page had a driving triple.
Racing returns to Miami Valley on Wednesday night (March 11) with a 4 p.m. first post.
