Brookview Bullet repeats in Dayton Open

Dayton, OH — Brookview Bullet parlayed a perfect second-over trip into a repeat victory in Thursday’s (Nov. 9) $25,000 Open Pace at Dayton Raceway.

Stars Align A (Dan Noble) fronted the field through fractions of :26.2 and :54.4 to the half. Sectionline Bigry (Tyler Smith) made a first-over bid with Brookview Bullet and driver Trevor Smith following his cover. Sectionline Bigry cleared Stars Align A for the lead at the 1:21.4 three-quarters, but Brookview Bullet, now left uncovered, dueled through the far turn and drew away by 1-3/4 lengths in 1:50.
