Delaware, OH — The opening program at the Delaware County Fair, Sunday (Sept. 19), will feature Buckeye Stallion Series action for 3-year-old filly and colt-gelding trotters. There will be two filly divisions and three divisions of colt-gelding trotters, each with a purse of $17,500.

Sixteen fillies will be split into two divisions, while 25 colts and geldings will meet in three divisions.

Three fillies, Magic Credit Card, Chip It In and Cash N Chips have each won two legs in the Stallion Series.

Magic Credit Card, the daughter of Credit Fashion is trained by Chris Beaver and has won four of 18 this year.  Chip It In by Break The Bank K is also trained by Beaver and has 11 wins in 22 starts.  The Cash Hall filly, Cash N Chips, is trained by Steven Bush and has won six times in 18 starts.

Chip It In and Cash N Chips will square off in the second division.

Other BSS winners include Sewin Sue (Wishing Stone) trained by Jason McGinnis, Rose Run Whitney (Uncle Peter) for Ron Burke and Fiesty Pistol (Triumphant Caviar) for Beaver.

On the colt-gelding ledger, Ilikedecupcakes, trained by Sandy Beatty, will look to win his fourth leg in the series.  The Dejarmbro colt did not race in the third leg.  All three of Ilikedecupcakes wins this year have been in BSS action.

Two others have won twice in the Buckeye Stallion Series.  Naughty Triumphant (Triumphant Caviar) is trained by Steve Carter, while Malibu Kid (Wishing Stone) is trained by Dalton Walls.

Ilikedecupcakes will face off against Malibu Kid in the third division.

Tango With Me (Deep Chip) trained by Beaver and Jessica McCown trainee, My Pal Sparky (Uncle Peter) each have a victory in the BSS.

The first of five days of racing at the Delaware County Fairgrounds begins Sunday at 1 p.m.
