Buckeye Stallon Series continues at Scioto Downs

Grove City, OH — Eldorado Scioto Downs will host 3-year-old colt pacers in the Buckeye Stallion Series (BSS) on Friday (June 8) and the 3-year-old trotting fillies on Tuesday (June 12).

There will be 50 3-year-old pacing colts competing in the second leg of the BSS on Friday. Six of the colts that are returning were first leg division winners at Miami Valley Raceway on May 5.

Big CC’s Rock will be racing in the fifth race and is trained by Clarence Foulk.

The seventh race will see Harambre Deo, trained by Chris McGuire, battle with Gotarockinmypocket, who trained by Kimberly Dailey.

Cass Delight Rock will race in the 10th race for Bret Schwartz.

The 11th race will see Goingtocalifornia, trained by Brian Brown, racing against Charlie Call Home, who is trained by Christopher Beaver.

On Tuesday, 22 3-year-old trotting fillies will return for the second round of sire stakes action. Three of these fillies were victorious at Miami Valley Raceway on May 7 and will compete in race 14.

Momentsoffire, trained by Steve Carter has the rail. Next to her will race Infrontandforgetit, who is trained by Jim Arledge Jr.

Bugs MvP, trained by Christopher Beaver, will also race in that contest. Bugs MvP was the 2017 Buckeye Stallion Series 2-year-old trotting filly champion.

Next on the Buckeye Stallion Series schedule will be 3-year-old colt trotters at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Thursday (June 14).
