Hamburg, NY — Buffalo Raceway would like to announce that on Monday, November 24, stall applications will be available for the 2009 meet, racing from Wednesday, January 14 through Sunday, July 26.

There will be a claiming ‘Knockout’ Series starting on opening night for horses that started for a base claiming price of $4,000 or less in 2008 with a final of $10,000 added, $20,000 estimated.

There will be other series throughout the year for claiming and conditioned horses as well as 2-year olds.

Overnight purses are expected to average over $60,000 a night due to an increase in our slot revenue.
