Burke Stable consignment tops $250,000 at onGait.com Wednesday

Boca Raton, FL — Bayfield Beach p,4,1:50.3 was purchased for $68,000 by Gordon McDonald of Ontario on Wednesday afternoon (May 25) to lead the Ron Burke Stable’s six horse consignment at onGait.com.

A 4-year-old son of Somebeachsomewhere, Bayfield Beach set a new lifetime mark two starts back at The Meadowlands.

The Sweet Lou gelding Hippestcatintown p,4,1:51.2f sold for $58,000 to Mark P’Pool of Illinois; Hatikvah 3,1:53.2, a 6-year-old son of Chapter Seven, went to Chris Scicluna of New Jersey for $41,000; Eminem Hanover p,3,1:53.2f-’22 sold for $35,000 to Greg Luther of Ohio; Tiamogonedancen p,4,1:52.1f, a daughter of A Rocknroll Dance, brought a winning bid of $30,600 from Martin Budkey of Pennsylvania; and the Kadabra 4-year-old Greg 3,1:59h, was nabbed by Jeff Burton of Ohio for $23,600.

Among auctions earlier this week, Comeonover Hanover 4,1:55.3f went for $58,800 to Rodney Hughes of Canada; Chiefs Beach p,5,1:51.1s was haltered by New York based Dan Morrissey for $46,400; Gunslinger Hill p,1:51.3f was sold by Jason Lynch to Robert Cacamese of Pennsylvania for $39,000; and Tony Alagna’s stable sold IQ Hanover p,3,1:54.1f-‘22 to Brent Tartar of Ohio for $23,000.

Currently in the onGait auction ring are Copper Teen p,4,1:54.4f-’22, a son of American Ideal racing for Chris Ryder;  Super Saturation p,3,1:55.1f, a daughter of Bolt The Duer fresh off a win at Northfield; and Steve Heimbecker’s Pearl Snaps p,3,1:52f-’22, a son of Fear The Dragon coming off his lifetime mark.
