OHHA Director sponsors HHYF Camp

Grove City, OH — The Union County Fairgrounds in Marysville, Ohio, is getting ready to welcome back the Harness Horse Youth Foundation Camp on Saturday (June 4).

The camp is one of two in partnership with the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association.

OHHA board member Roy Burns has pledged to sponsor full scholarships for the first 15 students to register. As a native of Marysville, Burns felt it was important to promote in his own community.

Registration closes on Friday (May 27). Visit hhyf.org to sign up.

The Mazing Racing Stable generously provided full scholarships for students who attended the Van Wert Camp on May 21. On behalf of the stable, Rod Cooper explained, “Kids are obviously the future of this sport. They’re future trainers, owners, grooms, and fans.”
