Washington Court House, OH — The Ohio Colt Racing Association held a record 33 colt stake races over the past few days at the Fayette County Fair and the Warren County Fair and also shared the half-mile ovals with some other featured attractions.

The 2016 Ohio Fairs Queen, Mary Buehler, got a ride in the Woebkenberg starting gate.

The Signature Series had two divisions of pacers and two divisions of trotters at Washington Court House and the Ohio Ladies Pace made a stop there as well where Ulrika Fox and Tabatha Canarr had a thrilling dash to the wire.

The OCRA colt stakes offered horsemen just over $158,000 in purse monies last week and we were thrilled with the turnouts on the front side and the back side. With t-shirt giveaways, Little Brown Jug tickets up for grabs and nice pari-mutuel handles we put on quite a show at both locations.

The 2016 Ohio Fairs Queen, Mary Buehler, was in attendance and we made sure she got a ride in the Woebkenberg starting gate, undoubtedly the best seat in the house.
