Prospect, PA — Racing at the Big Butler Fair in Pennsylvania on Wednesday afternoon (June 28) had to be canceled.

While weather cancelations are not unusual along the fair circuit, this group of 2-year-olds lost their racing opportunity because of safety concerns about the air quality in west-central Pennsylvania.

The situation for Thursday’s card for 3-year-olds is being closely-monitored, and early prospects look better for racing tomorrow. Notification will be made if the Thursday card also has to be canceled.
