Harrington, DE — Breakaway Racing and Yorwollohan Racing’s Speed Away ($7.40, Corey Callahan) had a successful return to Harrington Raceway with a 1:57.2 win in the featured $14,500 winners-over trot Wednesday (April 16) as part of a training triple for Nick Callahan.
The 7-year-old Father Patrick gelding charged hard through the stretch to grab the lead and pull away from Renegade Gypsy and Vlahos for his 18th career win.

Speed Away relished the Harrington track last year, with all seven of his wins coming over the half-mile oval.
It was a big night for the Callahans, who teamed up to also win with Star Razor ($4.00) and Going Platinum ($2.60). Two of the winners were owned by Breakaway Racing.
Earlier in the card, trainer Lakiyah Teachey notched her first career win with Lather Me Up ($4.00, Cody Poliseno), who is owned by her grandparents, George Teague Jr. and Joy Teague.
It was one of three driving wins on the card for Poliseno. Trainer-driver Ross Shand had a pair of wins from his stable.
Baby Boy ($3.20) notched his third straight win in 1:58 for Ross Wolfenden, who owns, trains and drove the trotter.
Live racing will continue on a Monday-through-Wednesday schedule; first post is 4:30 p.m.
