The 5-year-old mare by Royal Strength out of Easy Lover left hard from post five. Clearing to the top before the quarter and catching an easy half for this bunch in :57.4, Pantaleano and his mare glided to victory in 1:55.3. The horse and gelding trotters had their spotlight in race five. A field of nine formed to take their shot for the $20,000 purse. Run And Tell Pap prevailed after getting a perfect pocket trip to post time favorite Final Breath. Run And Tell Pap is a 7-year-old gelding by High Falls and trained by leading conditioner Ron Burke. Chris Page had the assignment from post nine.

He pressed hard for the front to an opening quarter in :27.3 before releasing Final Breath and taking the two hole trip.
