Pocomoke City, MD — The Great Pocomoke City Fair’s annual day of harness racing will occur on Saturday (Aug. 1) with a first post of 12:45 p.m.

The card will be held at the Pocomoke City Fairgrounds, located in Pocomoke City, Md., and will consist of a card of exhibition and charted races.

Last year’s card had the highest average purse per race in the history of the fair and organizers are announcing that the lowest purse, unless more than ten races are needed, will be $1,000 this year.

Director of Racing for the fair will once again be Mike Wandishin, who returns for his lucky 13th meet and the wide variety of conditioned races will once again be carded.
