Anderson, IN – Despite some snow in the area, Harrah’s Hoosier Park, the Indiana Standardbred Association and Indiana Horse Racing Commission have made the decision that the 15-race closing night program on Saturday (Nov. 29) will go on as scheduled, and when it does, bettors will be treated to a multitude of carryovers and guaranteed wagers on the program.
The Saturday night card gets underway at 5:30 p.m. and features the following carryovers and guarantees:
- $10,000 GTD Early Pick 5 ($2,905 carryover) – Races 1-5
- $20,000 GTD Early Pick 4 ($4,383 carryover) – Races 6-9
- Early Hoosier High 5 ($9,001 carryover) – Race 7
- $7,500 GTD Late Hoosier High 5 – Race 15
In addition to the wagering action, leading driver Trace Tetrick will be honored with his 12th consecutive and 14th overall driving title at Harrah’s Hoosier Park after the first race. Tyler George will be honored with his sixth consecutive training title after race two. Fourteen-year-old war horse Persistent Threat A will be celebrated in the winner’s circle after the ninth race, where he makes his final Harrah’s Hoosier Park start before approaching mandatory retirement.
