Busy morning for Burke in Gaitway qualifiers
S Class, a full brother to 2016 Trotter of the Year Marion Marauder, and So So De Vie, from the family of the sport’s all-time richest pacer Foiled Again, were among the two dozen 2-year-olds sent out by trainer Ron Burke for qualifiers Monday morning (June 3) at Gaitway Farm. Gaitway hosted the first of this month’s three Monday qualifiers, which essentially was Breakfast with the Burke Brigade as all but three of the 2-year-olds in action were from the Burke barn.

Increased attendance and handle on Camluck Classic card
The Raceway at Western Fair District ended the season on a high note this past Friday night (May 31) with a large and boisterous crowd on hand for the second edition of the Camluck Classic Invitational Pace. The Wall and driver Joe Bongiorno posted an upset win in the C$157,000 event on a program which also featured four City of London Series finals and seven OSS Grassroots divisions for 3-year-old filly pacers.
