Bruce Ranger brought his “A” game to Plainridge Park on Monday (Nov. 6) and won four of the seven races he was scheduled to drive while also finishing second twice and third once in the other three.

Allywag Stable’s Allywag Hanover will reunite with archrival Tattoo Artist Thursday night at Rosecroft Raceway, where two of North America’s most celebrated aged pacers will face off for a rematch in the $125,000 Potomac Pace Invitational.

When live harness racing resumed at Maine’s Cumberland Raceway on Sunday, one of the state’s top pacers, The Bird Dance N, continued his winning ways grabbing the $6,000 featured pace in 1:56.4.

Two “senior citizens of harness racing”– 76-year-old driver Floyd Rhodes and 10-year-old trotter Another Breath — teamed up to get their first victories in 2023 in the Great Lakes Amateur Driving Series race at MGM Northfield Park on Sunday.

Yogi Sheridan led from pillar to post in the lone $9,900 division of the American Harness Drivers Club (AHDC) Trot at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 5) – a card which also featured a pair of $9,900 AHDC Pace events won by Jacob Stillwell and Tony Beltrami.

A pair of 2-year-olds turned trainer Herman Wheeler’s just “okay” racing season into a very fruitful one for the 54-year-old Louisiana native.
