Pick-5 carryover and guaranteed pool offered on Monday at Yonkers
The final Saturday (Sept. 28) program of the year at MGM Yonkers Raceway saw no winning tickets held in the Pick-5. That means there will be a $4,115.36 carryover in the sequence on Monday (Sept. 30), and the normal $10,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick-5 that happens on Mondays will get boosted to $15,000.

A rainy Saturday night (Sept. 28) made it tricky to produce the winning Pick-5 play, forcing a $1,273 carryover into the Sunday (Sept. 29) program.
Power failure causes Philly to cancel
As the horses were getting ready to go to the gate for the first race of Friday (Sept. 27) evening’s program at Harrah’s Philadelphia, a large local power failure occurred, and the races at Philly had to be cancelled for Friday night.

The Pick-5 proved elusive for a second straight program on Monday night (Sept. 23) at MGM Yonkers Raceway, triggering a massive $37,254.78 carryover and a $100,000 guaranteed pool in the sequence on Tuesday night (Sept. 24).
