Harrah’s Philadelphia is seeking a lead trackman, reporting to the track superintendent.

Horsemen and racing fans are reminded that Harrington Raceway’s 77th season of live harness racing will commence on April 10.

Woodbine Entertainment today announced a post time change for live racing on Saturday (April 1) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

By industry standards, 2022 was a solid year at The Meadowlands as far as business goes. Average nightly handle was $2.75 million and betting surpassed the “magic” $3 million mark 23 times during a year that saw 85 race cards contested at the mile oval.

Woodbine Mohawk Park management would like to inform all horsepeople that this week’s qualifiers have been moved from Friday (March 17) to Saturday (March 18) due to expected rain and mild temperatures.

As Northville Downs readies for its first round of qualifiers this Thursday (March 16), additional meet details have come to light.

Due to the impending winter storm, the draw normally conducted on Tuesday (March 1)4 for Sunday (March 19) and Monday (March 20) will take place on Wednesday (March 15). The box closes at 9 a.m.

Live harness racing at Saratoga is canceled for Tuesday (March 14), due to the impending winter storm.
