Qualifiers/2-year-old races have been moved to 8 a.m. for this Saturday (July 22) at The Meadowlands.

Meadowlands Pace night on Saturday (July 15) was certainly one of the best Grand Circuit stakes cards of the season and business at the windows was right in line with the quality of the performances on the racetrack.

The race office at Running Aces has processed 18 nominations for the 2023 Steve Wiseman Memorial FFA Trot, which will get underway with elimination races on Sunday (Aug. 6).

The 2023 harness racing season at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, which concluded July 10, saw significant increases in all-sources wagering handle and total purses paid, giving cause for optimism among players and participants alike for the future of the sport in the Bluegrass State.

The Meadows race office reminds horsemen that entries for the 57th edition of the Adios Pace for the Orchids are due shortly.

Owners and trainers of horses entering the Spirit of Massachusetts Trot or Clara Barton Distaff Pace scheduled for Sunday (July 23) at Plainridge Park should note that the draw for those stakes will take place on Tuesday (July 18) and declarations must be made prior to 9 a.m. that morning. A torrential downpour following Saturday’s (July 15( fourth-race forced Woodbine Mohawk Park to cancel the remainder of its live racing program due to unsafe track conditions.

The Pennsylvania Fair Harness Horsemen’s Association will be live streaming the two-day meet from the Bedford Fairgrounds in Bedford, PA.
