Persistent rain, accompanied by lightning, forced the cancelation of the remainder of the live racing card at Miami Valley on Wednesday (April 5) after the third race.

Woodbine Mohawk Park management would like to inform all horsepeople that this week’s qualifiers have been moved from Friday to Saturday (April 8) at 10 a.m.

The USTA’s online entry box is now open for the initial qualifying races at Cumberland Raceway in Maine, which will start at 11 a.m. this Saturday (April 8).

Buffalo Raceway’s new post times will begin this week starting on Wednesday (April 5) when the 11-race program gets underway at 2:30 p.m.

With three weeks of qualifiers in the books, Northville Downs has posted the condition sheet for opening weekend, April 7 and 8.

Give the people what they want. At The Meadowlands, that’s big action, and last week brought the mile-oval faithful a bonus: Not one, but two carryovers on the Saturday (March 25) card that led to another big night at the windows.

Plainridge Park will kick off its 2023 live racing season on Monday (April 10) and in preparation for that opening, the track will hold two sets of qualifying races next week.

With no winning tickets sold in the early Pick-4 at The Meadows Thursday afternoon (March 30), the track will be carrying over approximately $18,000 into the Pick-4 that begins in race five.
