Woodbine Mohawk Park was forced to cancel Monday (Feb. 27) evening’s card of live racing after five races due to poor weather conditions.

Due to an impending snowstorm, Monticello has canceled live racing and simulcasting for Tuesday (Feb. 28).

Another blast of winter weather, including snow and freezing rain warnings, has caused the cancelation of Monday night’s (Feb. 27) program at The Raceway at Western Fair District.

Columbus, MN – There are just two weeks left before Monday (March 13) deadline for 2023 racing applications for Running Aces.

If The Meadowlands website – playmeadowlands.com – doesn’t provide absolutely everything a handicapper needs to pick winners at the mile oval, then it comes mighty close.

The Meadowlands will adopt the “purse by field size” format for all open class races beginning next weekend. Director of Racing Scott Warren has set the number at $4,500 per starter for the top class and $3,500 for one class below. It will apply to all open class races including pacing mare and trotters.

When the starting gate swings open for the first time for 2023 live harness racing season at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday, March 4, there will be plenty of optimism in the air.

Due to the impeding ice storm which will hit Southwestern Ontario beginning this afternoon, Wednesday night’s race program at The Raceway has been cancelled. Simulcasting will also be closed today due to the expected unsafe travel conditions.
