Once a week, throughout the Mohawk racing season, Woodbine will profile a horse who has had a life-changing impact on one of their closest connections.

A request from Rosecroft Raceway for 60 live racing programs in 2026 was approved by the Maryland Racing Commission at its Oct. 8 meeting.

With no NFL game at MetLife Stadium this weekend, the Meadowlands Racetrack is open for simulcasting Sunday (Oct. 12) at 11 a.m.

With no one hitting the Pick-5 wager at Batavia Downs on Wednesday (Oct. 8), there is a $947 carryover pool for that wager in the first race on Friday (Oct. 10) and the management of Batavia Downs has announced that the pool will be guaranteed at $5,000 through the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering program.

As part of the annual Pink Out event, two racing superstars will do a “meet and greet” at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows this Friday evening (Oct. 10). Louprint, currently ranked the No. 1 horse in the sport, and Rodeo Drive Deo will be on the apron level of the racetrack to meet racing fans.

The Meadowlands Racetrack will be closed for simulcasting this Thursday (Oct. 9) due to the Giants vs. Eagles Thursday night football game at MetLife Stadium.
