After the conclusion of competing in three events on a muddy card at Monticello Raceway on Wednesday (April 10), members of the North American Amateur Drivers Association and the Federation of the Homeless were on hand for a $2,500 check presentation in the winner’s circle after the last race of the day.

Preparations are underway at Ocean Downs for the annual Spring-Summer meet as the track opens for training on Wednesday (April 24).

Live classic rock and a much-anticipated 20-cent Pick-6 are both well worth the trip to The Meadowlands this weekend. The top venue in the sport will host 14-race programs this Friday (April 12) and Saturday (April 13). Each has a first-race post time of 6:20 p.m.

Woodbine Mohawk Park management has announced that Friday’s (April 12) qualifiers will now start at 10:30 a.m.

Each Monday, following the prior weekend of racing, the Meadowlands posts a poll on X (the platform formerly known as Twitter) asking fans to vote for their favorite drive from the past weekend. The poll runs for 24 hours with an option to vote for a drive either submitted by a fan or selected from Big M TV team/management.

The Woodbine Mohawk Park race office would like to inform all racing participants that purse checks from Ontario tracks are now being paid via direct deposit to Canadian participants.

With a big score in the last race, Joe Bohnarczyk walked away with the $2,000 grand prize after winning the track’s $5,000 live-money handicapping contest on Saturday (April 6).

On Wednesday (April 10), after the seventh race at Monticello, the North American Amateur Drivers Association will be making their annual contribution by donating $2,500 to the Sullivan County Federation of the Homeless Veterans Food Bank.

Eight qualifying races are carded and ready to roll at First Tracks Cumberland (Maine) on Tuesday (April 9). Sixty horses filled the entry box for the 11:30 a.m. post time, which will be broadcast on the Racetrack Television Network.
