Nichols, NY — Mike Merton drove Catie Faye Hanover and Tantalize Bluechip to co-feature wins at Tioga Downs on Saturday (June 10).
Catie Faye Hanover ($7.80) won a thrilling $10,000 fillies and mares pace.

Teen Dream (Jim Taggert Jr.) was first to the quarter in :27. Catie Faye Hanover took over the lead with a lap remaining. She was first to the half in :56.1 and continued to lead to three-quarters in 1:25.2.
As they reached the stretch Teen Dream popped the pocket and came charging after Catie Faye Hanover. Second place finisher Teen Dream kept coming as Catie Faye Hanover dug in and held on to win in 1:54.3. Speak Your Mind (Ivan Llopez) was third.
Catie Faye Hanover is a 5-year-old mare by Artspeak. She is owned by MBC Stables and trainer Richard Dunn. It was her second win this season and her 10th career victory.
Tantalize Bluechip ($2.70) cruised to a win in the $10,000 featured trot.
Wild Kat G (Drew Chellis) was first to the quarter in :27.2. Tantalize Bluechip made her move and took control with a circuit to go. She was first to the half in :56.4 and to three-quarters in 1:25.1.
As they made the turn for home she found another gear and demolished the field and won easily in 1:56. Beer Cheese (Corey Braden) came flying late to pick up second money. Smooth Affair (Jim Taggert Jr.) finished third.
Tantalize Bluechip is a 4-year-old mare by Devious Man. She is owned by Michael Moore and trained by Michelle Warner. It was her third win this season and career victory number six.
