Charity Jug auction set for Sept. 21

Laura, OH — A charity auction held in conjunction with the traditional Pre-Jug party is scheduled for Wednesday (September 21) in the Hospitality Pavilion immediately following the Jugette.

Guests will enjoy gourmet hor d’oeurves, open bar, live music, and friendly competition to win the bid on a variety of exciting items and services.

Tom Harmer and Michael Polansky have donated a custom painted Advantage Pro II race bike and Chad Foulk has donated a new Spyder race bike. Bud Hatfield has contributed a completely restored antique high wheel race bike.

Other exciting items include a vacation at a Florida beach resort grande home that sleeps 17, an all-inclusive Cancun vacation for two, an exquisite gold horse pendant with diamonds and sapphires, a John Deere riding mower, four Ohio State/Michigan football tickets, and a small trunk with a beautiful painting of See You At Peelers on top.

Original art and prints, memorabilia, jewelry, and home accessories are among the 175-plus items that will be auctioned with the proceeds benefiting New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program and the Delaware County Fair.
