Plainville, MA – The $15,000 featured pace at Plainridge Park on Monday (Nov. 24) afternoon went to Checkpoint Chatter, who turned an overland route into her sixth win of the season.

Checkpoint Chatter (Jim Hardy) got away fourth as Beantown Ace (Nick Graffam) got to the half in :55.1. But at that station Hardy was already out and rolling with Checkpoint Chatter, who worked her way to second at three-quarters but was still four lengths behind Beantown Ace. As the race moved through the final turn, Beantown Ace was losing ground and entered the stretch with only a two-length advantage. And when they turned for home, Checkpoint Chatter continued to gain ground and finally went ahead by a length at the light in 1:53.
Checkpoint Chatter ($4.40) is owned by Upland Farm and trained by Don Guidette Jr.
