Chester, PA — The first session of qualifying races at Harrah’s Chester prior to the beginning of the 2011 fall meet will take place on Friday (September 30), with first post at 10 a.m.

The race office will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon to take entries.

Additionally, a quartet of late closers will be conducted during the fall meet for Pennsylvania owned or sired 3-year-olds of both gaits and sexes. Each series will offer two $15,000 preliminary legs and a $40,000 added final. Nominations are due to the race office no later than Wednesday (October 12).

Opening night for the 2011 fall meet is Friday (October 7), with first post at 6:30 p.m. Racing then will shift to a Sunday through Wednesday-inclusive schedule, with first post daily at 12:40 p.m.
