The 2-year-old Swedish filly Denim Boko, with trainer Per Nordström in the bike, won the Breeders Trophy (Svensk Uppfödningslöppning) at Jägersro on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 24) in a new European record of 1:57.2f.

Denim Boko was a 1:57.2 winner.

Denim Boko, who is sired by Chocolatier and out of a Dream Vacation mare, was in command from the start and had no problem holding off the favorite Nuggets Face (she by Classic Photo) to win by a length.

Denim Boko is owned by the Trav 1609 stable, which has more than 800 owners.

Chocolatier, who in 2013 will stand at Menhammar Stud, owned by Hambletonian Society director Margareta Wallenius-Kleberg, has enjoyed a lot of success this year in Sweden, as this was his third winner of a Group One race.

The other winners are 3-year-old Chelsea Boko, who won the Swedish Trotting Kriterium, and the 4-year-old mare Drillbit Aas, who won the Stochampionat.

Chocolatier stands for $7,500 live foal.
