Lillywhites works hard for Open win at Saratoga
Saratoga Springs, NY — Lillywhites went a sensational mile to take the Sunday feature at Saratoga.

Lillywhites was a 1:55.4 winner.
The 7-year-old was parked the mile in the $22,470 Fillies and Mares Open and never gave way. Mike Kimelman piloted the mare to the gutsy win in 1:55.4 for owner/trainer Sara Kimelman.
It was the third win in the local feature this season for Lillywhites (Artiscape) who scored back-to-back Open wins in September. The winner returned $11.80. Artsy Princess (Bruce Aldrich, Jr.) was the Open’s runner-up while All About Kisses (Stephane Bouchard) earned the show spot.
Live racing resumes on Wednesday night with first post time set for 7:05 p.m.
