Classicality wins third straight in Meadows $20,000 trot

Washington, PA— Classicality notched his third straight win Wednesday (Oct. 11) at TheMeadows when he overpowered a distinguished field in the $20,000 Winners Over$10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot and scored in 1:53.1 over a “good”surface.

Classicality overpowered a distinguished field in the $20,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot and scored in 1:53.1 Wednesday at The Meadows.

“I think at this point with this horse, whatever the results are Saturday is the result of the last three months of work. What we’re going to do at this point is try not to do anything dumb and just bring him in as fresh as we can possibly make him.”

Classicalitywas away second, but Brian Zendt sent him past the leader, Lady’s Dude, at thequarter. The 7-year-old Classic Photo-Penn Worthy Lane gelding widened hisadvantage late and downed Lady’s Dude by 2-3/4 lengths, with Tamarind third.

Lisa Dunn trains and owns Classicality, who extended his career bankroll to $484,142.
