Hamilton, ON — A reminder from Flamboro Downs that the third Confederation Cup XXXII sustaining payment of C$1,000 is due this Thursday, May 15, 2008.

A nomination payment of C$25 is also due May 15 for Bud Light Stakes foals of 2007 to race as 2-year-olds in 2009 and 3-year-olds in 2010.

Confederation Cup XXXII, the Canadian half-mile championship with an estimated purse of C$650,000, goes Sunday afternoon, August 17, at a special post time of 1:30 p.m. This year’s Bud Light Stakes, formerly Flamboro Downs Breeders Stakes, has total purses in excess of C$1 million and starts on Sunday, June 29.
