Monticello, NY — Monticello Raceway has increased its purses again. The increased purses will begin with the Thursday card of May 15.

“We’ve increased our purses by about 15 percent across the board and it follows a 10 percent increase that we initiated on April 1,” noted Eric Warner, Monticello Raceway’s Director of Racing. “Currently we have increased our purses nearly 25 percent more than they were this past winter.”

During May the Mighty M will have live harness racing on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, there will be no live card on Monday, May 26, but there will be an added program on Friday, May 30.

Harness and Thoroughbred simulcasts are available every day and night throughout the month.
