Bucyrus, OH — Making his first driving appearance since 2016, Don Conkright teamed his 2-year-old pupil Winding Up to the fastest mile of the Bucyrus (Ohio) Matinee, held Sunday (June 2) at the Crawford County Fairgrounds.

The Lather Up gelding, who is owned by Hurley Racing, of Dublin, Ohio, paced his last half handily in :59 and completed the mile in 2:03.
