County Fair Matching Funds Grant Award winners announced

Columbus, OH — The USTA Matching Funds Grant Program, now in its 15th year, awarded 10 fairs funding for the marketing and promotion of their county fair harness racing program.

The 2021 awardees are:

Clearfield County Fair (Clearfield, PA)
Delaware County Fair & Delaware County Historical Society (Delaware, OH)
Erie County Fair (Wattsburg, PA)
Fowlerville Harness Horsemen (Fowlerville, MI)
Greene County Fair (Waynesburg, PA)
Indiana County Fair (Indiana, PA)
Jayland Trotting Association (Portland, IN)
Sagadahoe Agricultural & Horticultural Society (Topsham, ME)
Seneca County Agricultural Society (Tiffin, OH)
Shenandoah County Fair Association (Woodstock, VA)

The Matching Funds Grant program provides 50 percent of a marketing budget, up to $1,000, for fairs and horsemen’s organizations to promote harness racing on the fair level. Winning applicants are using the marketing money to put up billboards, do radio, newspaper, social media and television advertising, put up banners on downtown buildings and more.

There is no submission deadline for this promotional item reimbursement, but funding is available on a first come, first served basis.
