Hicksville, OH — The Defiance County Area Horsemen Association’s reverse raffle dinner was a fun, successful event. The money that was raised will enable the group to add more races to their fair programs on August 23 and 26, thanks to the generosity of many supporters.

The grand prize cash winner was Pam Peter of Hicksville, who graciously donated a portion back to the organization. The second place cash prize was awarded to John Deters of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., who also returned the winnings.

MHHA President Brett Boyd did a fantastic job hosting and literally worked up a sweat keeping up with the various activities occurring throughout the evening.

The next meeting is 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, at the Hicksville Eagles.
