Hamburg, NY — Do Me Better ($10.80) got the early jump on the field and cruised the rest of the way home in taking Buffalo Raceway’s $14,500 event for the distaff pacers on Friday afternoon (May 23). She beat Sweet Gadgets by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:56.1 over the fast track, equaling her seasonal best.
Beating the rail sitting Rightfully Mine to the punch in the early stages of the race, Do Me Better (Joseph Chindano Jr.) settled in comfortably on the point, putting up moderate fractions of :28.4, :58.4 and 1:28.2.

Enjoying the front end, Do Me Better found no takers down the stretch and breezed to the resounding win. Sweet Gadgets (Steven Hudon), the longest shot on the board at 30-1, collected the second place check with Rightfully Mine (Kyle Swift) picking up third place.
Co-owned by Jeff Savidge Racing LLC and trainer Maggie Chindano, it was the third victory in 13 attempts in 2025 for the 6-year-old Do Me Better (Always A Virgin-Do Me Good). The triumph increased his earnings to $27,710 and to $70,749 in his career.
It was bombs away in the sub-featured $13,800 trot as Starlitcresentroll (Jim Morrill Jr.) was able to wrangle the early lead from the outside eight post and never looked back from there in registering the $46.40 victory.

With Skyway Professor and Wolinak trying to take early control, Starlitcresentroll waited for the front to settle down before making his move. Hitting the opening panel in :30.0, Starlitcresentroll showed the way with splits of 1:00.1 and 1:29.1.
The heavily favored Dougadougadew made a first over move approaching the three quarter marker but that journey quickly derailed. Starlitcresentroll in the meantime, faced no pressure from any closers and easily romped to the 1-1/2 length score. Skyway Professor (Monti) was second while Wolinak (Chindano Jr.) was third.
Owned by Lucky Label Stable LLC and trained by Taylor Fritz, it was the third win in 11 races for the 6-year-old Starlitcresentroll (Crescent Fashion-Nirvana Blue Chip). The victory upped his seasonal bankroll to $28,430 and to $126,939 lifetime.
Kyle Swift completed the card with a triple while Monti, Morrill Jr. and Chindano Jr. all posted two wins each. Chris Petrelli and Thomas Mays each had training doubles.
Racing will return on Saturday (May 24) with a 13-race card set to begin at 2:30 p.m.
