Donato Hanover’s book is full and closed

from Hanover Shoe Farms

Hanover, PA — Jim Simpson, Hanover Shoe Farm’s President, announced today that the book of trotting champion Donato Hanover is now full and closed. He joins Well Said among the Hanover stallions with full books.

“The fact that both of these horses have strong and loyal syndicates is not coincidental,” Simpson said. “In today’s economy with fewer mares being bred, it surely helps a horse to have a strong base of breeders supporting him.”

Donato Hanover’s first foals are 2-year-olds in 2011. They were greatly anticipated as yearlings and were well received with 11 of them, including seven of the ten highest priced trotting colts, bringing over $100,000.

Well Said has had full books almost from the day his syndication was announced. His first foals are expected to arrive throughout the 2011 foaling season.
