Monticello, NY — For the second time in the Catskill Amateur Drivers Club Pacing Series Terry Donnelly has emerged victorious. Her second triumph came behind Stormy Weather, the pacer she won with previously. On the trotting side Zeke Parker and Chosen Voyager ambled to a 1:58 triumph in the weekly trotting feature, which was just one-fifth of a second off the track record for aged geldings.

Terry Donnelly scored her second CADC series win behind Stormy Weather.

But no one was more joyous than Mrs. Donnelly. She gunned Stormy Weather to the lead and had command until the final strides when JK Hooty and Tony Verruso charged to the lead at the wire. But their triumph didn’t stand because of a racing infraction in the first turn, which the judges deemed responsible for changing the outcome of the race.

“Tony started from the three-hole but he moved to the pylons without sufficient clearance and interfered with me and Dave Kingstom, causing both of our pacers to go off-stride,” noted Gerry Fielding who started from the two-hole with Darko while Kingstrom was on the pylons with Loyal Valley A. Toy ended-up with a two-hole trip behind Terry Donnelly but his victory didn’t stand.”

Stormy Weather, who finished second was moved up and was the winner of the event. Bull Rush and Randy Ingrassia was placed second and Darko and Fielding brought home the show dough when JK Hooty was placed last for interference.

“My horse sped away from the gate and whatever happened on the first turn was behind me so I really can’t say anything except I’m glad to win another race,” bubbled Donnelly.
