Harrington, DE – Tlb Racing’s Downers Delight ($4, Pat Berry) rebounded with a resounding 1:51.3 win in the $17,000 Delaware Special Monday (April 21) at Harrington Raceway. One week after bearing out on the final turn and ultimately yielding the win yet still finishing second as the beaten favorite, Downers Delight responded with a powerful performance to win for the sixth time in seven starts for trainer Traci Berry.

The 7-year-old Bettors Delight gelding emerged from the pocket with plenty of pace and drew clear of the field by a length with a :27.2 second last quarter over Hundred Dollar Man and pacesetter Adam Twelve.
One race later, Berry drove Cerulean Hanover ($7) to victory in 1:53.3 in a $10,000 conditioned pace for trainer Bobby Glassmeyer. Also on the undercard, Tribbett Racing’s Imaginary Line ($10, Allan Davis) utilized a pocket trip to surge by pacesetter Master Rigger and prevail in the sub-featured $14,500 winners-over pace for trainer Andrew Fulton. It was part of a driving double for Davis. Driver Corey Callahan celebrated his 47th birthday in winning fashion, with back-to-back triumphs with No Better Joy ($7.60) and Cattleshark ($3.60) in the sitxh and seventh races.
Drivers Tony Morgan and Jason Thompson each had three wins on the card.
