Dresden, ON — Thundering hooves will once again be heard at Dresden Raceway as the 2021 meet kicks off Sunday afternoon (June 13) with a 10-race extravaganza.

The season was scheduled to start May 30, but was delayed two weeks because of the lockdown in Ontario.

Sunday’s card will feature many familiar faces as Tyler Borth, Garrett Rooney and Marc St. Louis are all listed to drive.

Due to provincial restrictions, fans will not be permitted on Dresden Raceway property ,but the races can be seen on the Dresden Raceway YouTube channel and the Dresden Raceway website while wagering is available on HPIbet.com.

“It’s exciting to be back at the track and have all of these hardworking horsepeople back doing what they love,” said track announcer Gary Patterson. “We are hoping that restrictions will be lifted more and more throughout the year so we can have some fans in the grandstand sometime this year. We have lots of great things planned for when that happens.”
