Nichols, NY — Dressed To Kill (Aaron Byron) captured the $10,000 featured fillies and mares pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (Aug. 8).
Racy Roxy A (Mike Merton) was first to the quarter in :27.1. Huntressville A (Tyler Miller) grabbed the lead with a lap to go. Racy Roxy A reclaimed the top spot and led to the half in :55.4. Selina’s Choice then came first-up to challenge heading down the backstretch. Racy Roxy A was first to three-quarters in 1:23.3.
As they reached the stretch, second-place finisher Racy Roxy A had a short lead, but Dressed To Kill ($9.40) came flying down the lane like her tail was on fire and blew on by to win in 1:52.3. Shutupanddrive (Tom Merton) finished third.

Dressed To Kill is a 3-year-old filly by In The Arsenal. She is owned by Scott McGee and John Stronka in partnership with trainer Janice Connor. It was her third win this season and her fifth career victory.
Jim Pantaleano had a driving hat trick. Aaron Byron and Mike Merton had driving doubles.
